Network carrier Verizon is going to rollout the Android Marshmallow update for Motorola Droid Turbo 2 soon.

The Android Marshmallow update was being rolled out to Motorola Droid Turbo 2 a few weeks ago, but due to some issues the rollout was halted, according to 9to5 Google. However, now it is soon going to available to all the users of the device, as the issues are now fixed.

In a Google Plus post, Motorola's Senior Director of Software Project Management David Schuster, said that the Android Marshmallow update is now in "full deployment." However, it ought to be noted that currently the update is available only for Verizon users. It is expected that the other network carriers like AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular will also rollout the update soon.

Furthermore, the new update brings numerous features such as Doze Mode, App Standby, App Permissions, App Links, and Moto Display, according to Motorola. Moto Assist has also been revamped to a whole new level and it now has Sleeping and Meeting and Driving and Places features integrated into it.

In the latest update, the feature of Ambient Display has been done away with and it has been replaced with Moto Display. Hence, all the users who were previously using Ambient Display will now need to migrate to Moto Display. The latest update has also integrated the features of Attentive Display with Moto Actions for a more enhanced experience.

Meanwhile, the Android Marshmallow update has also been rolled out to numerous other devices such as Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge Plus. Network carriers such as T-Mobile, US Cellular, Sprint and Verizon have released the update. Only AT&T has to release the schedule for the Android Marshmallow update.

On the other hand, the Android Marshmallow update has also been released for the numerous devices of the Sony Xperia Z series. After the update, numerous Sony Xperia Z users complained of numerous issues. Hence, Sony had to release a patch to fix the issue.
