It has been 4 years since Bethesda released the last installment of "The Elder Scrolls" game series. Now, with Electronic Entertainment Expo coming in June, rumors are spreading that the game's developer might reveal details of "Elder Scrolls 6" in the said event. Gossips also leads to details that the 6th installment of "Elder Scrolls" will be named "Skyrim 2."

The rumor that "Elder Scrolls 6" will be unveiled at E3 sparked when Bethesda's VP of PR and Marketing Pete Hines revealed that the 6th part of the franchise is in the works, Telegraph reported. Hines added that they are developing the game with high of quality by making sure that every aspect in the game's development has been done with excellence.

Hines also hinted that presenting "Elder Scrolls 6" to the gamers may be quite different than the previous installments, as the VP of PR marketing might be giving the fans a clue that the 6th installment of the franchise will be big.

Now that the development of "Elder Scrolls 6" has been confirmed, it would not be surprising to hear details of the game in the near future, possibly later this year or early 2017. Reports also claim that the game might be available in 2019, Christian Daily reported.

On the other hand, fans have been very optimistic that "The Elder Scrolls" setting would be in Elsweyr or ValenWood. Fans could not also help but to speculate that the title of the anticipated "Elder Scrolls 6" is going to be "Skyrim 2."

It is no doubt a good news for the fans to hear that an official in Bethesda Softworks finally revealed that their favorite game "Elder Scrolls" is going to have a part 6 of the game series. With that said, it is expected that in the coming months, more speculations about the long awaited role playing game will surface. Perhaps, rumors keep the fans interested to the franchise even if the game's developer failed to provide its 6th installment sooner.

Nevertheless, the upcoming E3 event, which will be held in June, could be the right time that Bethesda will finally release a statement relating to the development of "The Elder Scrolls 6."
