Prior to his flight, the WWE legend entered the Lucky's Lounge in the airport, "obnoxious and loud." He was "shambling about" and seemed to have a "tough time," witnesses told TMZ. While his representative talked about a cut on his hand, a Massachusetts police told the celebrity news site that the injury was in his head. One of the witnesses said, "A significant amount of blood dripped from his head to his neck."

A photo of Flair receiving medical attention was tweeted under the account of Dennis Wayne. It said Flair was detained at the Boston airport for disorderly conduct.

Airport officials received a call that said a man had a cut on his hand, so they responded together with medical personnel. They treated Flair who was not intoxicated and allowed him to take his flight, Airport Police Sgt. Donlon told the online magazine. Flair's representative also confirmed the former wrestler was fine and made his flight.

"Ric has been working every day around the clock, including internationally, for a month straight, an agent of Flair, Melinda Morris Zanoni told the online magazine. She added that he has "injuries on his hand that were being looked into this morning" and since the 70s, he and his buddies have been traveling smoothly though it was not the case in Boston airport this week.

There were two separate injuries on Flair - his agent talked about hand injury while the police talked about head injury. Still, there was no police incident and the former wrestler was not detained or charged, Deadspin reported. He boarded the plane after being given medical attention. .
