"Descendants of the Sun" stars Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo has once again found themselves in a dating rumor in spite of the refuting claims beforehand.

Rumors of a budding romance between Joong Ki and Hye Kyo reignited after Dispatch made the photo of the on-screen couple during their press conference for the drama as their Facebook cover photo. Fans were keen to speculate that the said cover photo was an indication that Dispatch will soon be presenting photos to prove that the so-called "Song-Song" couple are dating in real life, GameNGuide reported.

The celebrity local news outlet is best described as the Korean version of TMZ and is known for exposing secret relationships among celebrities in the industry. The fans got a first dosage of Joong Ki and Hye Kyo alleged relationship news, when both stars were earlier spotted having a dinner together in New York City.

Apart from that, it was reported previously that the on-screen couple was reportedly shopping, groceries together and that the duo reportedly goes out on a date, yet reportedly invited some of the show's staff or members in order not to create noise.

However, it seems like the 34-year-old actress is already tired of the dating rumors plaguing her. Thus, Hye Kyo took to the "Descendants of the Sun" finale press conference on April 20, to slam the ones linking her to Joong Ki.

"Isn't it funny that we couldn't eat together because of scandal worries despite Song Joong Ki going all the way there, and when we are friends who have worked on a project together for six months?" Soompi quoted the actress as saying.

While laughing off, the actress went ahead to clarify that she was in New York on an extended stay and was happy to get contacted by the actor, who accidentally traveled to the city. Earlier reports claiming that the couple purportedly has matching bracelets were dismissed.

In an interview with KBS 1TV's "News9" on March 30, the 30-year-old actor commented on the dating rumors swirling them, by saying, "In my opinion, that kind of response happened because many people love our drama. We're enjoying the situation."

Hye Kyo and Joong Ki rose to fame for their groundbreaking performance as Dr. Kang Mo Yeon and Army Captain Yoo Si Jin, respectively. The blockbuster hit TV series aired on KBS2 from Feb. 24 to April 16 for 19 episodes, including the three-part special scenes containing the final epilogue for the show.
