All is set for Soong Joong-ki fan meet on Saturday at the Thunder Dome in Bangkok, except for a fan-made video tribute which Blossoms Entertainment rejected.
In a post made on YouTube and the Song Joong KiTH Facebook page, the fans complained of the rejection by the talent agency managing the “Descendants of the Sun” actor of Project Clip. The reason behind Blossom Entertainment’s rejection to open the video clip is that it exceeded 1 minute and 30 seconds.
The original clip was 2 minutes long, but the creator of the video – which showed scenes from Song Joong-ki’s TV shows as well as photos of the actor’s Thai fans – trimmed it to 1 minute and 44 second. They also posted it on the two social media sites with a short explanation.
The explanation reads: “It was made from Thai Fan’s hearts. Fan clips were send from Thai fans all over Thailand. It was rejected and we were very disappointed about Blossom’s decision. This is the most upsetting and disappointing feeling we have ever had for 7 years of being Song Joong Ki fans. Hope this VDO reach Song Joong Ki and Let him SEE how much Thai fans love him.”
The video, posted a few hours ago on YouTube, has more than 2,500 hits so far.
Meanwhile, all the 4,500 tickets to the fan meet have been sold out. The tickets, priced at 5,000, 3,500 and 1,800 baht, started to sell on April 9 at all outlets of Thaiticket Major, all branches of major Cineplex and EGV, Thailand post offices and Tesco Lotus. A maximum of four tickets were allowed per purchase.
