‘Dragon Ball Super’ episode 42 recap: Monaka’s a [Spoiler] plus Universe 7’s victory party

A victory party is organized by Bulma and Whis is invited. She tells him to bring Monaka along. "Dragon Ball Super" episode 42 has aired and the recap is here. A lot of action and drama in this DBS episode titled "A Tumultuous Victory Celebration! Facing Off At Last: Monaka vs Son Goku?!"

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 42 recap, spoilers

The episode starts with Whis getting invited to the tournament victory party by Bulma. She reminds him to bring Monaka along.

However, Beerus is worried if Monaka comes then Goku would want to fight him and Monaka's truth will be exposed. Additionally, if the Omni-King comes to know about Beerus lying then it would be bad news for him.

There is a lot of food for the guests at the party. Meanwhile, Bulma and others are worried about Beerus creating a scene and spoiling the party.

Elsewhere, Satan wants Monaka to be the face of his gym and he dressed up Pizza in a Monaka suit. Elsewhere, Monaka reveals that he works as a delivery person and Chi Chi is quite pleased to learn that Monaka has a job.

Later, Bulma finds out Monaka's secret and that is why he is not invited by Beerus to the party. Kuririn asks Piccolo about Monaka but he seems to avoid the question.

Meanwhile, in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 42, Beerus asks everyone not to reveal Monaka's secret and not to tell it to Goku.

Goku comes to the party in dirty clothes and Chi Chi is angry at him. In the meantime, Whis mentions if Goku comes to know about Monaka's secret, they will have to figure out something else to spur him. Goku needs to be stronger for the Omni-King's multi-universe tournament.

Trunks tells Beerus to come as Monaka but Beerus is not happy with the idea as it is beneath the dignity of a God of Destruction.

Bulma wants them to fight somewhere far away as it would spoil the party. Later, Beerus fights as Monaka with Goku and Goku is surprised that Monaka can split up like Boo. He vows to train harder. Beerus reveals that he regrets about the lies.
