WWE World Heavyweight Champion Reigns was not brutalized by AJ Styles last week as Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows did not let Reigns take charge. However, later Reigns went after Styles and delivered the powerbomb on him at the announce table.
It will be interesting to see if Styles would go crazy against Reigns on this week's WWE Raw.
Elsewhere, Dean Ambrose has been missing after Chris Jericho smashed The Lunatic Fringe's potted plant on his head. Will Ambrose make a comeback on WWE Raw on May 9 or he will be on a hiatus?
Meanwhile, The Miz feels that only he is worthy enough to touch his Intercontinental Championship belt. However, time and again, Sami Zayn, Cesaro and Kevin Owens have tried to snatch away the championship from him. Since WWE Payback, Zayn, Cesaro and Owens have claimed that they deserve to be the champion. However, after last week's Raw, the No. 1 Contender for the championship is yet to be determined. Can a challenger emerge on Monday Night Raw who will go up against The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship?
Meanwhile, behind Charlotte's immense dominance over the WWE Women's Champion has been Ric Flair. At WWE Extreme Rules, Charlotte goes up against Natalya and Flair is banned from standing near the ringside.
On SmackDown, Natalya delivered the Sharpshooter on Emma and made her tap out. She sent a message to Charlotte that it is not going to be easy for her to win at Extreme Rules.
Additionally, it will be interesting to witness Kalisto and Rusev on WWE Raw this week. What is in store for these two athletes. Kalisto managed to have an upper hand over Rusev, but The Bulgarian Brute is brutal as ever.
