The WWE will be holding their first live event in Hawaii since 2009 at the Blaisdell Arena. The latest rumors suggest that one of the main events of the show will be John Cena vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for the first time ever.

According to Wrestling Inc, a local advertisement in Hawaii during the latest episode of Monday Night Raw promoted two matches for the WWE Live Event on June 29. The first match is a showdown between Kevin Owens and Brock Lesnar while the second is the rumored Cena vs. Nakamura match.

Cena is scheduled to return from his shoulder injury in the Memorial Day episode of Raw on May 30 while Nakamura is still part of the NXT roster. Nothing has been confirmed, but The King of Strong Style may be promoted to the main roster very soon.

However, it could also very well be part of Cena's US Open Challenge as the rumors imply that he may win the United States title back at the "Money in the Bank" pay-per-view on June 19. Before he got injured, the 15-time champion was trying to regain his US championship back but never got an official rematch.

Many WWE fans are surely excited for the match if the rumors are indeed true since Nakamura is one of the most exciting superstars to watch at the moment. His match with Sami Zayn at "NXT TakeOver: Dallas" is considered by many as the leading Match of the Year candidate.

On the other hand, Lesnar vs. Owens was rumored to be in the works for WrestleMania 32 but both were booked in a different feud. It is a very intriguing matchup as it will be the first these two huge WWE superstars will be facing each other.

According to the official website of Blaisdell Arena, some of the advertised superstars about appearing in the live event in Hawaii besides the four mentioned include A.J. Styles, Asuka, Bray Wyatt, Charlotte, Chris Jericho, The New Day, The Usos and the current WWE World Heavyweight champion Roman Reigns.

Nonetheless, WWE plans may change before the event since it's still more than a month away. Check out the video below for Nakamura vs. Zayn highlights at "NXT TakeOver: Dallas."
