Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress episode 6 - the people and crew aboard the Kotetsoju are once again facing a life and death situation as they try to find ways in escaping the rampaging form of Kabane abomination. Worse, they have to do it without their Kabaneri allies, Ikoma and Mumei, who are trapped underneath one of the tunnels of Yashiro station.

After surviving a deadly kabane ambush led by a Wazatori in Episode 4, the Kotetsoju is taking on a far more dangerous challenge in Yashiro Station following the appearance Black Kifuri, a spider-liked monster made of thousands of Kabanes.
With Mumei and Ikoma not around, the lives of people aboard the Kotetsoju will now depend on the Hayaijiro's crew, particularly its steam engineer Yukina and Lady Ayami's bushi guards.
Meanwhile, Ikoma found himself protecting Mumei inside a tunnel infested with Kabane. Ever since her conversation with that one-eyed person, Mumei hasn't been acting normal as she made some risky decisions that put her life in peril. Realizing his Kabaneri partner currently on an emotional roller-coaster ride, Ikoma decides to take care of the situation with his bare hands, despite the enormous number of Kabanes in that tunnel.
Kabaneri Episode 6 Synopsis:
Kotetsujo is facing huge mass of dead bodies, turning itself into a Black Kifuri. On the other hand, Ikoma and Mumeihad fallen to the bottom of the waste station. Surrounded by Kabanes, there’s no doubt that they are in desperate situation, but the ever resilient Ikoma still moves forward.
