According to reports, the electronics company Motorola will unveil Moto X Style (2016) and Moto X Play (2016) in June.

Let's take a look at the features and specs of the two Motorola smartphones.

According to a report from BGR, the Moto X Play (2016) will sport a 5.5-inch Amoled display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. On the other hand, the Moto X Style (2016) is expected to feature a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels.

The upcoming Moto X Play will be launched in two internal storage variants of 32GB and 16GB, whereas the forthcoming Moto X Style will have an internal memory of 32GB. Users will be able to increase the storages on the two smartphones up to 200GB using a microSD card slot.

According to many reports, the 2016 Moto X Play will have a 3GB or 2GB RAM, octa-core Cortex A53 processor, Adreno 506 graphics card and Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The 2016 Moto X Style, on the other hand, will have a 4GB or 3GB of RAM, an Adreno 530 graphics card and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor

The 2016 Moto X Play will have a 16MP primary camera that will feature geo-tagging, HDR, panorama, touch focus, face detection, phase detection, laser autofocus and dual-LED flash. The 2016 Moto X Style, on the other hand, will have a 13MP primary camera that will support panorama, HDR, touch focus, LED flash, OIS, laser autofocus and geo-tagging. The two smartphones will come with a secondary camera.

The Moto X Play (2016) is expected to pack a non-removable battery of 3500 mAh. On the other hand, the Moto X Style (2016) is expected to pack a 2600 mAh battery.

Meanwhile, the mobile carrier Verizon has rolled out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to Motorola Droid Maxx 2.

The Droid Maxx 2, which was released in October last year, features a 5.5-inch display. The handset is powered by a 1 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 and a 1.7 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53. Other features of the Droid Maxx 2 include 3,630 mAh battery, 16 GB internal storage and a 21-megapixel rear-facing camera.

Android 6.0 M was announced in May last year, but the latest update was not officially launched till October 2015 with the release of the the Pixel C tablet, Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X.
