New "Persona 5" details features the backstory of the new protagonist, the formation of the Phantom Thieves and in-game activities.

Atlus' latest instalment of the "Persona" game series will feature several activities that gamers can do whenever they are doing a mission at night. Player's can explore the "big city life in Tokyo as they embark on different activities within "Persona 5" such as going school, attending classes, hanging out with friends, taking a subway etc.

There are also part time jobs to which the protagonist must do to gain money and buy items and weapons. There are also dating side quest that gamer's will encounter, possibly hinting the protagonist's possible love interest since majority of the "Phantom Thieves" are female, Dualshockers reported. There are also life events within the game such as sea bathing, school festival, school excursions and field trips.

Gamer's can do missions as a phantom thief during the night times as they explore a new area called "The Palace", which is made up of the corrupted minds of certain adults within "Persona 5". Certain locations within the palace will be based on castles, art museums and a pyramid. The Phantom Thieves must explore these areas in order to steal the "Treasure" of the corrupt individuals and bring justice to the world.

In other news, Atlus released a prologue for "Persona 5" that details a little backstory of the protagonist and how he was involve with the Phantom Thieves in the first place.

According the prologue, the protagonist saves a woman from being harassed by a man, but gets arrested by the police after they the offenders injuries. The protagonist is put under probation and forces himself to become a phantom thief in order to fight against the wait of probation.

There is also a new character named Sae Niijima and it is hinted that she could be the mother of one of the new "Persona 5" characters, Makoto Niijima. The Phantom Thieves are also being hunted by the police and the Japanese government due to their activities and several mysterious events that are happening within the city, Siliconera reported.

The Phantom Thieves can travel to the Palace by using a mobile app called Isekainabi and there are idea of being a high school student during everyday life and a phantom thief during the non-everyday life will have bigger implications this time around.

Each of the character's Personas are made of outlaws that reflects the characteristics of within the Palace and they can evolve as well.The story of "Persona 5" will have multiple layers along with tricky story developments going on in some parts.

"Persona 5" will launch on Sept. 15 in Japan, while the western release of the game will be out sometime this year for the PS3 and PS4 consoles.
