Just a few weeks ahead of Apple's 2016 WWDC, which kicks off June 13, the 2015 MacBook lines have become the subject of epic sales that pushed down the 13-inch MacBook Air to its lowest level of $799 while the 12-inch MacBook is now up for grabs for as low as $899. The latest deals further fueled the swirling speculations that the MacBook Pro 2016 release date is about to happen, and real soon.

In partnership with Apple Insider, B&H Photos offer the 2015 MacBook Air with a $200 discount that will entitle shoppers to the unit powered by a 1.6GHz chip, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. Not only that the package is the lowest ever for the MBA but it will also ship out within 24 hours at no cost to customers. And there will be no tax sales involve so long as the delivery address is outside of New York.

Other MacBook Air configurations are available as well with the shaved off price ranging from $999 to $1350, the latter, of course, boasting of top-tier specifications - a mightier processing chip with top speed of 2.2GHz, 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD.

Or Mac fans can actually go for the 12-inch MacBook that B&H also sells at significantly reduced tag. The Gold MacBook, for instance, is ready to fly out in exchange for $899 or essentially a discount of up to $400 with the following configuration: 1.1GHz/8GB/256GB.

Apple Insider also pointed to similar MacBook sales on Amazon and ABT, both displaying the Silver and Grey options but the Gold flavor from B&H is the best bang for the buck and no doubt the better looking model of the bunch.

Shoppers need to note that both the promo deals come with limited supplies so it is best to hustle up on the buy decision. But if the stocks dried up too soon, which actually is the purpose of the promo (to clear the way for the fresh MacBook models to come), then the 2016 refresh is the way to go.

Persistent rumors say that the MacBook Air is on the way out and the MacBook Pro 2016 will become the sole ultraportable from Apple. It will be a totally redesigned Pro with the 12-inch sibling as template, indicating that the upgrade will be lighter and slimmer than the past versions.

Believed to be powered by Intel Skylake and MacOS, which is OS X 10.12 rebranded, the MacBook Pro 2016 is expected in 13-inch and 15-inch screen sizes and if analysts' predictions will prove accurate the release date of the devices will happen within Apple's 2016 WWDC this coming June or right after the event.
