"The Walking Dead" season 7 will reportedly feature the biggest cliffhanger in the hit AMC show's history.
According to Den of Geek, this cliffhanger would have to do with the revelation of who exactly did Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killed off at the end of the previous season.
Since then, there have been ongoing speculations on who might have been the villainous characters' victim, but the creators of the show are purposely keeping the information to themselves.
While all of this is happening, season 5 cast member Tyler James Williams spoke with Entertainment Weekly to say that he already knows who died at the end of season 6.
"We all still speak and they kind of keep me up to date and stuff on what's going on and all of that... You have to understand showrunner Scott M. Gimple knows everything seasons and seasons out, so people knew, but we can't say anything. No one can say anything. So it's actually better to say that we don't know," he said.
Cast member Norman Reedus added, "Cliffhangers have been happening since the beginning of entertainment, so they make sense. I know what happens and it's gut-wrenching to me."
Meanwhile, another crucial information regarding the premiere date for "The Walking Dead" season 7 is rumored to be on October 9.
According to the publication, this is just a highly educated guess because all of the other premieres for the first episode of "The Walking Dead" aired sometime during the New York Comic Con. Since the latter will take place for October 6 to 9, the new episode could premiere on that same weekend.
In other news, production for "The Walking Dead" season 7 has already commenced in Peachtree City, Georgia. Photos from the show's main location have also been shared online.
Since then, fans have been searching for clues as to which character Negan killed. Their theory has been, whichever character will not be seen on set is the one who died.
However, this theory cannot stand because flashbacks and several other storylines could also be part of the upcoming installment.
"The Walking Dead" season 7 will air on AMC sometime this October.
