"The Originals" season 4 has just been renewed by The CW, and viewers are already looking forward to finding answers to some of their biggest questions from the series.

Just recently, Design N Trend compiled a list of storylines that they want to be explored on the show next season.

First, viewers are still unsure whether or not Cami (Leah Pipes) is really dead. In the previous episodes, the female character was killed off, but there are some rumors that she could still return to the series possibly in a series of flashbacks.

Second, if Cami will be revealed to be alive, there's also a huge possibility that Davina (Danielle Campbell) could return to the show. The two female characters died around the same time so viewers weren't really able to mourn their demise.

Third, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) have a very strong connection with each other. However, the two never got into an actual relationship. With this, viewers want to find out whether or not there's hope for the two characters to reunite. After all, their feelings for each other are equally strong.

Meanwhile, there have been some rumors that Caroline (Candice Accola-King) will crossover to "The Originals" after "The Vampire Diaries" airs its last episode.

Caroline and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) were an item before, and their recent reunion sent fans over the moon. With this, it's possible that Caroline and Klaus' love affair could develop in the upcoming episodes.

"The Originals" and "The Vampire Diaries" are also expected to have more crossovers in the upcoming season. Executive producer Julie Plec said so herself.

While speaking with TV Line, Plec said, "It's a rare luxury to have two shows in a shared universe that you could do that. So to not do it feels like we're missing a really fun creative opportunity, a way to celebrate both shows. But it's not like anyone over at the network is calling us and being like, 'You need two crossovers this year.' I think it'd be fun to keep finding small, organic ways to do it."

"The Originals" season 4 will premiere on The CW sometime this fall.
