Eminem's protégé 50 Cent, a father of two, is currently single. Recently, the rapper and actor talked about marriage and dating.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, 50 Cent was asked when he dated comedian and talk show host Chelsea Handler. He replied, "Yes, for eight months."
50 Cent has nothing but good words about Handler. He explained, "If you're around her long enough, to know her is to love her."
Aside from having a captivating personality, Handler is "just totally honest," according to 50 Cent. He then asked, "Do you know how difficult that can be?"
In a recent Harper's Bazaar article, Handler explained why she is posting naked photos of herself online. She wrote that everyone has seen her naked and when she goes on dates, she is glad that they have "gotten that out of the way so they already know what's coming."
At this point, 50 Cent is not sure whether or not he wants to be married. He said what he wants is the kind of friendship that he thinks can be priceless, and if that is what comes along with marriage, he will take it.
It appears that Eminem and his protégé have many things in common. Aside from being successful as rappers, they both are single and have kids.
50 Cent's first child is named Marquise Jackson. The rapper's former girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins gave birth to their son on Oct 13, 1997.
After his relationship with Tompkins, 50 Cent dated Daphne Joy. They had a son named Sire Jackson, who was born on Sept. 1, 2012. Like Handler, Vivica A. Fox and Ciara also dated 50 Cent but they did not have a child with him.
On the other hand, Eminem has one daughter named Hailie Jade Scott Mathews with his former wife Kim Scott. He also has two adopted daughters named Alaina Mathers and Whitney Mathers. The former is his late sister-in-law Dawn Scott's daughter while the former is Kim's daughter from another relationship.
In 2012, 50 Cent and Eminem collaborated in the song "My Life" with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine. Watch the music video here:
