The anti-cheating patch of "Dark Souls 3" on PC has finally been released again by From Software. The previous version of the patch failed because it caused a lot of problems for the PC players of the game.

According to Kotaku, the anti-cheat of the third iteration of the game franchise has finally been fixed, and released again for the PC platform. Initial reports suggest that the newly fixed update does not have the issues of stuttering and freezing during gameplay, which happened frequently when the previous version was released.

The previous version of the anti-hacking or anti-cheating patch failed in the PC version, and it was removed by the game developers right away to analyze what went wrong. The patch had problems with games freezing or stuttering at random during gameplay. This caused problems when player invaders came during online gameplay, and usually their characters get killed because they could not evade attacks properly.

According to the game's page on the official website of Steam, the game developers were aware of the concerns of their customers who had problems with other players that caused them trouble. They have promised that the new patch will solve the issues that the victims have encountered, and they will continue to search other problems that may arise in the future.

The main purpose of the recent patch was to stop hackers from exploiting the video game. They have been able to exploit the game's cheat detection measures during multiplayer, and they used it to temporarily ban other players who have invaded their worlds for multiplayer battles. The game developers have solved the freezing problem, and promised that the victims of the unauthorized temporary bands will not be penalized with more bans.

The recent update that the game developers have released has also solved different issues that players have encountered during Online Mode. These previous issues that players experienced before the new fix were characters being sent back to their worlds right away, being sent to the Firelink Shrine, and being changed in full Dragon Body Status even though the player did not do anything.
