“Descendants of the Sun” actor Song Joong-ki is 100 percent making a cameo appearance in Korean Hallyu "Sound of Your Heart." The show stars Lee Kwang Soo, a co-cast member of Song Joong-ki in “Running Man” which they did for seven years.
Proof of the 30-year-old actor’s cameo appearance are photos posted in a Facebook fan page. The images show the two actors at a convenience store in South Korea.
Soompi reported that the two friends arrived at a 7-Eleven convenience store in comfortable clothing to film a scene in front of the retail outlet. The cameo appearance of Song Joong-ki returns a favor to Lee Kwang Soo who also had a cameo role in Episode 1 of the 16-episode “Descendants of the Sun.”
The lead actress in “Sound of Your Heart” is Jung So Min. The show was originally a popular webtoon in South Korea which aired for almost 10 years. But the show would be released as a web drama on Naver TVCast in fall, while a public TV version would also broadcast simultaneously on KBS 2TV which aired “Descendants of the Sun.”
Filming for “Sound of Your Heart” just ended after the cameo appearance of Song Joong-ki was shot. The show is being edited.
Fans of the two actors are excited to see their idols in “Sound of Your Heart” – Song Joong-ki in a cameo role and Lee Kwang Soo as the lead actor.
