"Greys' Anatomy" Season 12 has almost come to a close with finale airing tonight, May 19. The eventful episode 24 "Family Affair" is expected to air some highly anticipated moments such as April's delivery, Amelia and Owen's wedding, and Jo revealing some long-buried secrets to Alex. Meanwhile, fans are wondering where things will go from here and what to expect in Season 13. Speculations are running rampant and here are some predictions for the upcoming season premiere.

A promo video for "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 finale shows April panicking after her water breaks. The only person she has on her side is Ben. She pleads him to help her deliver the baby as she is unable to wait for an ambulance.
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 opener is expected to see April and Jackson coming together as they celebrate the birth of their baby. It is speculated that with the baby in their life the couple might get closer or even reunite. Since the couple has decided on co-parenting their child, fans can expect to see them spend several moments together.
As for Amelia, she almost has a nervous breakdown on her wedding day as shown in the trailer. Amelia says "I Do" or not remains uncertain. Whatever happens at the wedding, Season 13 episode 1 will deal with its consequences.
"Amelia scares the bejesus out of everybody," Kevin McKidd (Owen Hunt) told TV Line.
In addition, Season 13 is expected to explore Nathan Riggs and Meredith's storyline. Fans would recall the pair ended up making out in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 episode 23 "At Last." It will be interesting to see how their relationship progresses.
Further, Callie and Arizona's relationship remains strained. The former couple is still struggling with Sophia's custody arrangement. How they decide to deal with it remains to be seen. As for Jo and Alex, the future of their relationship remains unclear. However, Alex is expected to reveal some secrets that she has been hiding from Alex in the final chapter of Season 12.
So when will "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 premiere? Considering the previous seasons' schedule, fan can expect episode 1 to air on Sept. 22 or Sept. 29. However, a change in the schedule can be expected.
