ASUS will be unveiling their new line of phones on May 30 at Computex but their new Zenfone 3 Max model has been spotted in the wild.

The photo that has been circulating around the Internet shows a man holding what seems to be the Zenfone 3 Max in his hand while dining at a cafeteria or a restaurant. As always, the leaked photo is blurry at best and there is no ASUS logo that can be seen.

Recent leaked info from ASUSClub in Indonesia suggest that the camera position from the circulating photo proves that it would be the ASUS Zenfone 3 Max, Phone Arena reported. The recently released teaser from the company itself shows three different sizes of the phones from small, medium to large.

The three sizes could be 4.5, 5.5 and 6 inches for the display screen. Of course, the smaller screens would be the cheaper ones for budget-conscious customers while the largest could be the high-end variant.

All that is left is ASUS's official announcement for the Zenfone 3 Max. Specs of one variant of the phone have leaked through an AnTuTu benchmark, Ubergizmo reported.

Some of the phones could feature MediaTek chipsets but more would sport a Snapdragon 820 chipset from Qualcomm. The specs make sense as Intel, who supplied the chips for the previous Zenfone 2 line, had already given up on their mobile chip business.

The ASUS Zenfone 3 Deluxe or the Zenfone 3 Max could also feature an impressive 23-megapixel camera for the rear and an 8MP front snapper. Lower-end models would obviously have cameras with fewer megapixels.

All of the screens on the new phones would probably sport a 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution. Hopefully, the higher-end models would feature at least 2K or even a 4K resolution screen.

The teaser shows that ASUS will still be going with an aluminum or metal design for their Zenfone 3 line. However, they seem to be using the flat motif instead of the curved rear of the previous phones.

ASUS will be officially unveiling the Zenfone 3 Deluxe and the Zenfone 3 Max plus other variants in the upcoming Computex event on May 30. The company has confirmed that all of the phones will go on sale by June.
