Down to three weeks before Apple's staging of its 2016 WWDC in June, the Mac lineup is again the subject of compelling deals that shaved $400 off the 27-inch iMac and $200 off the 13-inch 2015 MacBook Pro. The new round of discounts only fired up the expectation that following the annual event the MacBook Pro 2016 release date will happen shortly.

According to Apple Insider, Apple authorized sellers Adorama and B&H Photos are offering the iMac and MBP with the lowest price tags compared to the competition. The 27-inch OS X desktop, for instance, is down to $1499 or $400 less from the original sticker. The B&H package boasts of a 3.3GHZ processing chip that is paired with 8GB of RAM with 1TB of storage space.

The report indicated that the iMac deal, which involves as the 2015 model, is labeled as a closeout promo, meaning the sale is designed to push out the remaining inventory of the machine and Apple does not intend to restock when the last unit flies out. B&H said that supplies are limited so buyers need to hustle up in taking advantage of the deal.

Or shoppers can pick instead the 13-inch MacBook Pro that is powered by a 3.1GHz processor, 8GB of RAM with 512GB of SSD. It is up for grabs on Adorama and the deal includes free delivery that could be as quick one day and free sales tax for orders outside of New York and New Jersey. Apple Insider said that the promo is limited to existing Adorama customers.

Buyers not qualified can actually afford to skip the MPB deal and just consider the upcoming refresh, which as hinted by the torrents of epic Mac deals coming out lately is possibly touching down soon. And if rumors are to be believed, the MacBook Pro 2016 should be worth the wait as the power inside is said to be Intel's sixth-generation Skylake that is a huge step up from the fourth-gen Broadwell. The jump promises more computing power, speed and hours.

And the killer feature upgrades are but part of the MPB 2016 deal, likely headlined by enhanced Retina display, Butterfly keyboard mechanism that is optimized for better productivity and accuracy plus slimmer and lighter build than the previous models. Analysts have forecasted that the upcoming 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pros will be closely patterned after the 12-inch MacBook that could include a Rose Gold option fort the line.

On release date, which as suggested above could happen in matter of few weeks or immediately after the 2016 WWDC, the MacBook Pro 2016 will run on OS X 10.12 that is rumored to be rebranded as MacOS. The software is said to deliver Siri for Mac and the ability to unlock a Mac using the iPhone's Touch ID feature.
