The latest details for "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" will feature more parkour, combat and free run in a new trailer and EA/Origin Access to start next week.

Electronic Arts and DICE launched a new trailer for "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" which features the game's protagonist Faith Connor's reason to run for freedom in the city of Glass. The games is a prequel to Faith's past as she fights the oppressive conglomerate namely KrugerSec and at the same time finds her reason to get involved into the conflict.

The trailer also features more fluid free run and parkour moves for Faith to utilize on missions and travelling throughout the city. She can also use her parkour skills in combat against enemy units. The game will have Social Play which allows gamers to challenge other players by creating time trials, VG 24/7 reported.

The city of Glass in "Mirror's Ede Catalyst" will be divided into three different districts: The Anchor for the proud high society classes within the city, Downtown which is located at the center and The View, a residential area fit for starting a family.

"Mirror's Edge Catalyst" will several different factions that Faith will encounter during her journey such as the Runners, Conglomerate and Black November.

The Runners are a group of renegades who oppose the Conglamorate from its principles to their life style. They are often seen on roof tops and in a large group often racing each other on buildings performing acts of burglary and courier jobs.

The Conglomerate are composed of 13 corporations, each run by a family member or a corporate house that rule over Cascadia. The houses are locked in corporate power struggles as they are willing to go through extreme lengths to to advance in the hierarchy. These corporations include KrugerSec, Silvine Systems, and Elysium Corp.

Black November is a resistance movement led by Rebecca Thane, who is once a prominent protest leader that has turned violent during the November riots two decades before the game. The group is constantly hunted by KrugerSec as they terrorized the authority and incite a revolution amongst the citizens.

In other news, EA announced more details regarding the EA/Origin Access trial for "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" and they will launch it next week.

The EA/Origin Access trial will be limited to ten missions and two districts, as well as access ot Social Play within the game. However, it is not yet clear if side missions will be added into the trial,

Access members will also save up to ten percent on the full digital game should they choose to pick it, with progress made in the trial also able to be transferred over, VideoGamer reported.

"Mirror's Edge Catalyst" will launch on June 9 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC platforms.
