"Pokémon Sun and Moon" games will be released on Nov. 18. For gamers who enjoy having a strategy guide nearby for help, there is good news since the "Pokémon Sun and Moon" strategy guides have just been announced.
Players will have a basic strategy guide of 350 pages for $25. The official description of the basic strategy guide on Amazon reveals that the guide comes with a detailed walkthrough of the games.
Besides the locations for the Pokémon, the guide will come with lists of moves, items, and the way players can obtain the items. Avid fans of the franchise will as well get important tips for getting the most out of communications, including the pullout map of the Alola region.
Furthermore, gamers will lay hands on a collector's edition version of the strategy guide for $40. The contents of this collector's edition are similar to the basic strategy guide except for a premium hardcover copy. The description of the collector's edition via a different report by the same publication reveals that it comes with "bonus content" exclusive to the version.
There are speculations that "Pokémon Sun and Moon" will release with the burst evolution. The feature is from "Pokémon Reburst," which is a 2011 manga series published in Japan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine.
The "Pokémon Reburst" introduced a strategy called Burst that allows trainers to fuse with their Pokémon in the form of a Pokémon-human hybrid. The feature is likened to a cosplay in an entirely new level.
The Burst strategy uses an item referred to as Burst Heart, which has a diamond prism shape. It is alleged that this diamond prism is in the "Pokémon Sun and Moon" logos.
Strategy guides for Pokémon are not new, although the previous generation's guides were widely criticized. The official strategy guide for "Pokémon X and Y" did not have many key features that gamers expected, including Pokédex.
It remains to be seen whether the "Pokémon Sun and Moon" guide will have a Pokédex or not. Given that the guide indicates that it will inform players where to catch Pokémon, it is likely that it will have Pokédex. However, some fans question the possibility of having the full Pokédex features in the guide.
