Sporting a camouflage gear, Zdorovetskiy climbed the Hollywood sign and stood atop the letter "D" more than an hour, making himself busy by recording numerous videos and selfies. He also carried a banner that reads, "I'm back." The star owns the YouTube blog channel, VitalyzdTv, which has more than 9 million subscribers.

It is said that Zdorovetskiy did it as part of his promotional stunt for "Natural Born Pranksters." On May 24, Tuesday, he took to Twitter and teased all his followers that he was taping an enormous stunt the next day.

However, the stunt caught the attention of LAPD, who promptly arrived on the scene and managed to persuade the YouTuber to go down, The Hollywood Reporter reported. Zdorovetskiy was then arrested for trespassing at around 6:40 PM (EST), while another man that was spotted climbing up the slope towards the sign was also taken into custody.

According to LAPD Officer Wilhelm, an investigation over the matter is still on-going. In any case, it is said that Zdorovetskiy will probably face a misdemeanor trespassing fine of at least $1,000 and a six-month in the county jail.

It was learned that it is illegal to draw near the 45-foot-tall historical landmark, which is protected by a fence and a high-tech security system, featuring a motion recognition and closed-circuit cameras, Daily Mail reported. Hence, any movement in the stamped confined areas immediately triggers the alarm, which notifies the LAPD officer nearby.

In the past, Zdorovetskiy and cameraman Jonathan Vanegas ended up in prison, after they pulled a hoax bomb assault in Boca Raton, Florida. The Boca Raton police authorities arrested him on charges of threatening to explode a bomb, while Vanegas was placed in jail for only 20 hours. Unsurprisingly, Zdorovetskiy's subscribers grew to more than four million after the incident happened.
