Trela just got engaged to Kirstie Alley's daughter, Lillie Price Stevenson, when the tragic accident happened. Although Mikita won't be charged with vehicular manslaughter, the Trela family will push through in suing him.

Witnesses saw what happened, saying that Trela was speeding at 80 MPH in a 35MPH zone when Mikita made a left turn and the accident took place. Ferguson and Mikita both maintained their silence about the tragedy in order to respect those grieving.

Questions about the legality of Mikita's left turn was raised when he did so in a double yellow line, Daily Mail reported.

Meanwhile, Trela's family believes that Trela made an illegal turn though they claim that he was being careful and definitely obeying traffic rules at that time.

The LA City Attorney expressed his initiative that Trela is partly at fault on what happened, for over speeding, and witnesses say that Mikita was being very careful and even made a break at the yellow line before proceeding, Gossip Cop reported. Trela was riding a Honda motorcycle when the accident happened while Mikita is riding an Audi.

Alley expressed her sadness against the loss saying, "He was one of the most awesome men I have ever met in my life."

Mikita and Ferguson tied the knot in 2013 citing they are like the rest of the American people who enjoys basic civil rights.

Ferguson is on a break prior to the shooting of "Modern Family's" fifth season.
