Good news awaits all "Danganronpa" fans. Most recent news noted that two-part anime TV series, "Danganronpa 3: The End of Kibōgamine Gakuen," is scheduled for release in Japan on July 11.
The official website for the upcoming anime series announced on May 31, Tuesday that "Danganronpa 3's" "Mirae Hen aka Future Arc" will premiere on Tokyo MX on July 11 at 11:00 P.M. (GMT+9). It will be followed by the second chapter called "Zetsubō Hen aka Despair Arc" on July 14 at 11:30 P.M.
The two-part anime series' serves as a conclusion to the series original storyline called Hope's Peak Academy. The first chapter follows the aftermath of the series' first game installment and will concentrate more on the old and new characters presented.
The "Zetsubo Hen" arc, on the other hand, takes place prior to the events of "Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Game." It is expected to illustrate what happened to Hajime Hinata and his classmates prior to the biggest, most terrible and most tragic event in mankind's history.
Further, two new episodes will debut every week on Japan's BS11 channel. Although the production staff intends to make the series suspenseful, it was learned that it will exclude any class trials or investigations and will only feature content that can only be expressed within the anime medium, Gematsu reported.
The much-anticipated series is being enlivened at the anime studio Lerche with the direct supervision of series creator Kazutaka Kodaka. It is directed by Seiji Kishi based on a script written by Norimitsu Kaiho. The anime also features character designs by Ryoko Amisaki and Kazuaki Morita.
Apart from that, the anime's website also confirmed that Binaria will perform the opening theme for Future Arc chapter, while voice actress Megumi Ogata will be performing the chapter's ending theme song titled "Zettai Kibo Birthday." The opening and ending theme song of the Despair Arc chapter, on the other hand, will be performed by Maon Kurosaki and Trustrick, respectively.
"Danganronpa 3" stars Megumi Ogata as Mokoto Naegi, Saki Fujita as Seiko Kimura, Yoko Hikasa as Kyoko Kirigiri, Takuya Eguchi as Sonosuke Izayoi and Inori Minase as Ruruka Ando. Voice actors Hidekatsu Shibata, Keiji Fujiwara, Kanata Hongou, Rie Kugimiya, Kenta Miyake, Chiwa Saito, Masaya Matsukaze, and Takako Sasuga have also been cast to play a respective pivotal role in the series.
It is said that the series' staff and cast members are poised to make an appearance amid the show's advance screening on July 3 at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills Theater in Tokyo, Japan. The anime series is part of Spike Chunsoft's "Danganronpa V3: Minna No Koroshiai Shin Gakki" game, which introduces a new plot setting and set of characters.
