In spite of the messy divorce and cheating rumors, it seems like Mike Shouhed and Jessica Parido are still in good terms. The former “Shahs of Sunset” star recently took down Mercedes Javid on Twitter, after the latter dissed her ex-husband. Wil the couple give their marriage another chance?
Early this week, Javid posted that Shouhed's dad has cheated on his wife. She also claimed that he had "multiple diseases," adding that she can provide proof of her allegations. Surprisingly, Parido immediately came to Shouhed's defense.
"U are disgusting! 40 something y/o "woman" speaking abt someone's parents. U could only dream 2 have a relationship like theirs [sic]," Parido tweeted.
Many fans of "Shahs of Sunset" were clearly surprised, yet pleased, to see Parido defending Shouhed. They praised Parido's loyalty and classy behavior.
"How amazing is ur ex wife, 2 defend ur parents after u broke her heart - from someone u considered a friend!?" a netizen wrote.
Parido then explained that she had great respect for Shouhed's father, adding that she considers him family. The "Shahs of Sunset" star added that only someone "without morals" would say something like that to one's parents.
Javid, however, is not one to back down without a fight. She explained that she only resorted to that type of behavior because Shouhed tried to put her own mother down.
"Your ex-husband tells us different stories. He lies to you & me. He tried to throw my mother down. I fought back so he'll stop," she tweeted.
In April, Shouhed appeared on "Watch What Happens Live" to give "Shahs of Sunset" fans an update on his divorce. Shouhed revealed, via Bravo, that they have started to act cordial towards one another. He shared that there was a time when they acted "very aggressively" towards each other but not they are in a better place in their relationship.
"We keep in touch. We touch base. Look, five years together, she was 21 when I met her, so we shared a lot of memories in very pivotal years of her life," Shouhed said.
"Shahs of Sunset" Season 5 airs Mondays on Bravo.
