Google is yet to confirm but it could be that the Nexus 2016 release date is happening soon enough and Android fans have two solid indicators to thank for. One is that the 2015 Pure Android flagship Nexus 6P is now available with discounts of up to $100. Then Huawei, maker of the same device, has seemingly confirmed of the soon to unbox Nexus 6P sequel.
The powerful and premium Nexus 6P, according to GSM Arena, is the subject of new killer deals found on Google Play Store and other retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, B&H and Newegg. In most cases, the 6P price cuts range from $50 to $80, and like in the Play Store the starting price for the Nexus 6P has been adjusted down to $449, which is for the basic 32GB model.
However, ordering the stock Android handset outside of Google's online store will give shoppers the most savings with B&H not only cutting down the original sticker price by up to $80 but also bundling two screen protectors for any Nexus 6P buy.
For its part, Newegg appears to be the most generous of the resellers as the 128GB Nexus 6P is being pushed out by the retailer for only $499 or $100 less compared to the competition. And to sweeten the deal, Newegg is shipping all orders with a selfie stick and a screen protector at no cost at all.
While all these epic Android flagship deals are indeed glaring clues of Google's soon to happen Nexus 2016 launch, 6P maker Huawei just provided the most obvious sign that the next Nexus will soon come out and the device will be part two of the well-received Nexus 6P.
In a report, 9to5Google said that a senior Huawei executive in South Africa accidentally confirmed the second coming of Nexus 6P. "We're doing the Nexus again this year," the Huawei official was reported as saying though no further details were provided in the news story.
The report aligns with the recent rumor that an upgraded Nexus 6P will soon hit the market bearing upgraded inside components headlined by a Snapdragon 820 chip and 4GB of RAM. And as speculated by the same 9to5Google report, Huawei's slip only adds up to the growing belief that Google in fact is planning to unpack three Nexus phones in the coming months.
One would originate from China, which as suggested is the boosted up Nexus 6P, and two handsets that will be sourced from Taiwan. The latter will be assembled by HTC and one model is believed to be the repurposed HTC 10, which pretty much replicates Google's previous partnership with LG.
Google has reportedly scheduled the Nexus 2016 release date with the official Android N rollout, which reports said will happen no later than August 2016 or earlier.
