The "Dragon Ball Super" episode 47 preview starts with Trunks introducing himself and he reveals that it has been a long time after they defeated the Androids. The future is at peace until he arrived.

He is referring to Black Goku. Future Trunks promises his mom that he will make the future peaceful again. He sounds committed to this mission. However, defeating Black Goku will not be easy.
