Samsung is expected to officially launch their new Galaxy Note 6 or Galaxy Note 7 flagship by August if new leaked information is to be believed plus new renders of the flagship phablet have surfaced.

Reliable leaker Evan Blass has posted a tweet saying that the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 or the Galaxy Note 7 and the Edge variant could be launched two months from now. That could mean that the South Korean tech giant will be launching the phone within the first week of August.

There are several rumors and speculations about the new flagship phablet and it has been confusing so far. The naming convention seems to have changed as they want to compete with Apple's iPhone 7 and to be consistent with the numbering of the generation of their devices.

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Note 6 in August 13 last year which makes the first week of August 2016 launch a plausible idea, TheBitBag has learned. Large tech companies would most likely follow their launch cycles as to generate hype and not to disappoint their customers.

The Galaxy Note 7 is expected to feature a 5.8-inch display and there are speculations that it could use Samsung's new Bio Blue screen technology with 4K UHD resolution. The said screen tech could be brighter and more power efficient than their current Super AMOLED panels.

New renders of the Galaxy Note 6 from uSwitch even show a dual camera setup in the rear, University Herald reported. It could be similar to the dual camera setup that is being spotted in leaked photos of the iPhone 7.

Other amazing features of the new phablet from Samsung include a massive 6GB LPDDR4 RAM and the Samsung Iris or Samsung Eyeprint technology that could replace the fingerprint sensor. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 SoC, which is also rumored to be found in the Zenfone 3 Deluxe, could also power the device.

Samsung will have to confirm the rumors of the renders showing a dual camera setup once they officially launch the Galaxy Note 6 or the Galaxy Note 7. The August release date seems possible enough if history would repeat itself.
