A 10-year-old girl with prosthetic limb just received a gift that has left her happy for her lifetime - an American Girl doll with a prosthetic leg. The little girl cried cheerfully after seeing her gift because of the striking similarities of the doll with that of her.

"You've got to be kidding me," the little girl named Emma Bennett said as a part of her emotional response. "It's got a leg like me! I love you!"

Emma's mother, Courtney Fletcher Bennett, had sent a doll to a company called "A Step Ahead Prosthetics," according to NY Daily News. The company, which works for the welfare of humans, fitted the doll with a prosthetic limb, to bear resemblance to the little girl.

The doll was sent as a gift to Emma, along with a letter. The letter explained how she (doll) was made to wait in a room upon her arrival as a pink-colored leg was being prepared for her. It also emphasized on how after weeks of training, she is ready to go home and lead a normal life with Emma, that too without any restrictions or limitations.

The video capturing the heart-wrenching moment has been viewed by millions of people around the world. According to Amy Palmiero-Winters, operational director at "A Step Ahead Prosthetics," it is important for a human to see someone like him or her, no matter if its just a doll.

"It's just amazing," Palmiero-Winters told the publication. "You don't feel so alone."

When people and employees at the company saw the video of the girl receiving and appreciating her gift, there was not even a single individual who was not crying, according to Jessica Terranova of the legal affairs department.

Terranova further said how everyone was so moved by the reaction. The employees at the company work hard everyday to make all this worthwhile and to create a beautiful reaction that leave every heart filled with emotions.

The company does not charge anything to customize the dolls, according to its official blog. "A Step Ahead Prosthetics" believes that it is essential to boost self-esteem, self-confidence and feeling of inclusion among little girls with limb loss and gifting them a customized doll can help promote sound physical and mental health-being among them.
