"Orange is the New Black" season 4 recently dropped two new sneak peeks from its upcoming episodes. Both sneak peeks revealed that lead character Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) will become one of the heads at Litchfield prison.

There will also be a slew of new inmates that will be introduced on the show when it premieres in Netflix this month.

The sneak peek opened with Piper telling the prison warden that she started to feel unsafe at the facility.

At one point, one of the inmates threatened to kill Piper, and the look on her face suggests that she won't back down this time around.

Unfortunately, Piper's new-found confidence will not sit well with every one of her friends.

The sneak peek revealed that the inmates at Litchfield prison will go through different obstacles and some of them will rise to the occasion while others will fall.

Meanwhile, while speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Schilling opened up about what's in store for Piper in "Orange is the New Black" season 4.

"She's becoming a little bit of a kingpin and has this swagger. But the feeling I always have about Piper Chapman is that she tries on everything like a piece of clothing - she doesn't quite fit the jacket, but she tries it on. And I love that about her," she said.

In other news, the upcoming episodes of the Netflix series will continue to feature Laura Prepon's Alex Vause. Previously, there were rumors that the character has already been killed off.

Natasha Lyonne's Nicky will also return for Maximum Security, and the actress said that there's also so much in store for her character.

"Major events happen like Max or something and we don't know what's going to happen, but you go along for the ride because of the trust. So much of the brilliance of the show is sort of plucking us at exactly a certain moment to play well together and to be comfortable of the unknown," she said.
