DICE and EA are transporting Battlefield 1 players back to the First World War with their new FPS sequel and their trailer has even become one of the most viewed on YouTube in 2016.

Most shooters today like the upcoming Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare are focused on bringing the fight in futuristic settings. However, the Battlefield 1 is taking a step back to give players a new perspective on how warfare worked without all the technological bells and whistles.

The earlier Call of Duty and Battlefield video games have been successful also because of their interpretations of the wars. Even the COD: World at War became a huge success.

Developers of the new video game have said that it will still be fast-paced even if there were not too much automatic weapons. They are also emphasizing the melee aspect of the war with maces, swords, bayonets and more.

More concept art has been released by DICE for Battlefield 1 and they show more of the stuff that players will be able to see and do when the game finally releases, TechnoBuffalo has learned. There are more horses and zeppelins that can be seen in the concept art.

The game's overall look has already been revealed in the trailer, which has been receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback. In contrast, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has been voted down and disliked by the players because of its entirely different direction from the series.

Battlefield 1 Official Reveal Trailer has taken the top spot on the Official Spring 2016 YouTube Game Trailers Leaderboard with more than 34.6 million views, VentureBeat reported. It also has more than 1.8 million thumbs ups compared to Activision's new COD with over 2.8 million thumbs downs.

Bethesda's Fallout 4 takes two spots at eight and nine with their DLC trailers. Far Harbor had 4.3 million while Automatron had 2.9 million views in total.

Battlefield 1 is expected to be launched at October 21, 2016 but more details about the World War shooter will be revealed by DICE and EA at the upcoming E3 2016 event. There could also be a playable demo on the grounds to make the first impressions for the game.
