Meanwhile, as episode 47 nears its air date on June 12, several hints were already dropped by various reports. Toei already announced the appearance of Future Trunks and also released images of his new appearance, Kazenshuu reported. The official title for the episode is rumored to be "New Chapter! An Obscure Enemy Appears."

The same report also revealed that "Dragon Ball" series writer Akira Toriyama confirmed the idea came from a suggestion in their editorial office. The return of Trunks from the future is to find Goku and the others after he defeated Cell, but Toriyama added that Trunks returned to the present time to face a stronger enemy which he identified as Black Goku.

This Black Goku was described to be more evil than any other previous villains featured in the series.  As for his origin, Toriyama hinted he came from the future timeline. He also revealed the battle between Future Trunks and Dark Goku will surpass time and space that would even draw the Omni-King, the Destruction God and Kaioshin.

Fans may be more than excited to know the succeeding events that will happen in the series. Some are speculating Trunks may be killed by Black Goku, which prompts the Goku Vegeta fusion. Others speculated that this fusion may still not be sufficient to defeat the powerful Black Goku. The rumors are just endless as the new episodes nears its air dates.
