Nick Cannon is putting up a $100,000 rap battle dare, and wishes Eminem to be first in line. The rap challenge is "for someone who can put up 100 grand." He did offer it to Tyga and Slaughterhouse but they declined.
Cannon is back into the world of rap, contributing some songs to the soundtrack of "Chi-Raq" and recently working with rapper and his protégée ItsAMovie to form the NCredible Gang duo and they had come up with "Snapchat #GettinFreaky." He is becoming more confident with his rapping skills that he challenges the best people in the rap sphere for big bets.
When Cannon visited the U.K. studio of Tim Westwood for a YouTube interview, he announced his plan for a rap battle to be around the BET awards later this month, with each competitor putting forth $100,000. However, some, like Tyga and Slaughterhouse already declined, he told Westwood. Cannon stated, "I did it like Mortal Kombat, I said, I'll take all of them out to get to the boss."
The "America's Got Talent" host likewise mentioned his feud with the Detroit rapper in 2009, according to The Source. Mariah Carey who was then Cannon's wife provoked Em with "Obsessed," which he responded with a diss track that was offensive to Cannon, "The Warning."
After a year, Cannon came up with a diss track that did not get the same attention as Eminem's. He did not show any animosity when talking about his feud with Em, HotNewHiphop reported. However, he is willing to have a rap match with the artist from Detroit, saying he is ready. "I'm trying to find him. Where is he?"
As Eminem is among the best successful rappers of this generation, Westwood eventually told Cannon he may need a reality check. The match could be difficult, but Cannon will get MTV2 to witness Slim Shady dropping by on "Wild 'n Out," the comedy series he created. As someone who is quite determined by his rap battle, he just wanted Eminem to show up at least because he does not want to win by default.
