"Hardcore Final Fantasy fans in the US may remember that an International Version of the game was released that included a new character growth system, as well as various other improvements to the game's interface," Hiroaki Kato, Square Enix producer wrote in the PlayStation blog.

Kato added that the company is happy to announce that The Zodiac Age will be integrating all of the features and updates of the International Version of the game, so fans can finally experience them.

Aside from the 7.1 surround sound support, the new version will allow the players to switch between two voices which include Japanese and English. They will also have the option to choose the original 2006 or use the "re-recorded" score. Loading times will also be reduced, the Turbo Mode is improved and it has an added auto-save feature, Game Spot reported.

In a video by YouTuber Cycu1, the difference between Final Fantasy 12 PS2 and the new version for PS4 is seen. Although the improvement isn't really huge, the change is still apparent. Players are looking forward on how the actual game play will look like and if everything will run smoothly on PS4,Attack of the Fanboy reported.

Final Fantasy 12 is a weaker installment because of its protagonist in Vaan as well as its dull combat system. But despite that, it still has its fans that will surely be looking forward for the release of Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age in 2017 for North America, Europe and Japan.

Aside from the comparison video showing how the game improved, the official teaser trailer of Final Fantasy 12 was also released. It will also be possible that Final Fantasy 12 will be released on PC since the rest of its versions are already available on Steam.
