NBA rumors about Jeremy Lin has once again resurfaced especially after the Linsanity made a career changing decision. There are now speculations that Lin will reunite with his former Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni under Houston Rockets after his stint with the Charlotte Hornets.

It can be remembered that Lin and D'Antoni were once under one team, the New York Knicks. It was during those times that the world witnessed the rise of Jeremy Lin to fame as the Linsanity fever swept the globe. Knicks head coach, D'Antoni, was all praise towards his former point guard who instrumental in making important defensive stops during their games.

"With Linsanity, we had 11 games, if I'm not mistaken, where we were the No. 1 defensive team in the league with Lin as the point guard. Nobody says that. Nobody says we were 10-1, or 9-1, with Lin," D'Antoni told The Bottom Line in a radio interview.

Now that it has been reported that Lin turned down a $5.5 million offer from Charlotte Hornets to rework his contract, rumors of him and Mike D'Antoni teaming under Houston Rockets is once again making a noise online.

With the excellent performance of Lin during the regular season and the playoffs, it would not be a surprise that several organizations and even his former coach will notice his improvements. And the idea of Lin playing once more for the Rockets could now be more viable despite the alleged issues between Lin and his former teammate James Harden, according to SB Nation.

While full cooperation and teamwork may be of great concern for some fans, having D'Antoni as the new head coach, the rumored issues between Lin and his former teammate and other team concerns will somehow be adequately addressed. D'Antoni has the leverage in signing back Lin to the Rockets, while changing some plays that could fit in both Harden and Lin in the equation while avoiding any conflicts.

Under the leadership of D'Antoni, Lin can once again re-establish his game as an elite point guard who can orchestrate a fast-paced offense. With the possible addition of Lin in the backcourt, offense-oriented coach, D'Antoni, will be somehow be guaranteed precision in the offense. However, he might encounter considerable difficulties in the defensive end, according to HoustonPress.

But still it is too early to conclude regarding the possible game performance of the Rocket in the coming season under their new head coach. Even the speculated revival of the Linsanity under his former mentor remains unsure until Lin announces his decision. Guess we would just have to wait for further updates regarding the NBA rumors of Lin's return to Toyota Center.
