Apple launched the second beta version of iOS 9.3.3 for public testing on June 7. Meanwhile, a group has claimed success in jailbreaking iOS 9.3 and announced a release date for the jailbreaking tool they are developing.

The tech giant has seeded another version of iOS 9.3.3 for beta public testing right after it released the said version to the developers. Apple has been testing iOS 9.3.3 since May 23; iOS 9.3.2 was officially released to users three weeks prior and the version under testing now is said to be aimed at addressing bug fixes needed. The company, however, has not revealed the details of the updates or any change log nor announced when it would release the update to users, MacRumors reported.

Meanwhile, GSMagic Team has claimed that it has done a successful jailbreak of iOS 9.3. It initially said that the group will release the jailbreak tool for the said OS version on June 9, but nothing has materialized yet. This prompted an outrage on social media, calling the group "fake." In its defense, GSMagic Team posted on its Twitter account, "We try HARD but we 'FAIL' to prevent our DEADLINE. We can't make a stable release to the world [sic]. We suspend indefinitely project Ibykus for iOS."

Italian hacker Luca Todesco jailbreak the latest iOS version in May. He posted on Twitter a photo an iPod 7 running on a jailbreak iOS 9.3.3 version along with a caption, "plz send moar hate." But like before, he did not release the tool to the public, much to users' disappointment.

With the iOS 10 just around the corner, jailbreaking teams might just skip releasing a tool for the whole iOS 9 version. iOS 10, along with Mac OS, Watch OS and tvOS updates, are expected to be previewed during the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco, where Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook will deliver a keynote speech on June 13. One of the major improvements that is expected to be announced is a smarter Siri with upgraded functionalities and a possibility of being integrated with third-party apps, MarketWatch reported.
