Speculations are rife that Daenerys Targaryen may give birth to a heir in "Winds of Winter." The father of her child may be Daario Naharis.

The Khaleesi engaged in an intimate relationship with Naharis and they may soon become parents to their heir in the upcoming book. The gender of the child is not known.

Naharis was originally a member of the mercenaries known as the "Second Sons." His mission was to kill Targaryen but he did not do so. Instead he killed off his peers and become the confidante of the Khaleesi.

He is very skillful and tenacious. He quickly gains the trust of the Khalessi and becomes one of her most trusted aides. In fact she trusts him so much that she even sends him to deal with the trouble in Yunkai on his own.

The child born to Naharis and Targaryen would be a force to reckon with. He or she will not only have the Targaryen bloodline and will carry the dynasty forward but also be a claimant to the Iron Throne.

Meanwhile, there are rumors that the much-delayed book "Winds of Winter" is almost finished. It will reach the publishers soon and will release by the end of the year.

Earlier this year, author George R. R. Martin wrote on his blog Not a Journal that he is very sad that the book will not release before "Game of Thrones" Season 6. He said that the delay was due to numerous convention visits and other commitments.

Martin tried to pacify the fans by releasing a chapter of the upcoming book on his website George R. R. Martin. The chapter focuses on Arianne Martell and is expected to be around three years old.

Other spoilers of the book indicate that Jon Snow, Tyrion Lannister will vie for the attention and love of Arya Stark. It was earlier believed that Snow and Stark were half-siblings but it is actually not so. Snow is actually a Targaryen and not the illegiminate child of Lord Eddard Stark.
