On the "Game of Thrones," there is probably no one scarier than Ramsay Bolton or the white walkers. However, there is another character who measures no less on the scale of scariness. It is none other than Septa Unella.
Unella, a character played by Hannah Waddingham, follows the Faith of the Seven and the High Sparrow. The popular "Game of Thrones" character is a woman who should not be messed with at any cost, Cosmopoliton explains.
In "Game of Thrones" Season 5, Unella was shown misbehaving with Margaery, Loras and Cersei. She even chanted "Shame" while ringing a bell during Cersei's walk of atonement. In Season 6, her role was no different apart from the fact that she also kept an eye on Margaery after the crown and faith merge.
It is understood that such traits would make intense and scarier appearance a must-have look of the character. However, often people who play such characters are not of the same nature in real life. That seems to be the case with Waddingham too.
In real life, Waddingham is someone who can change herself into the character without affecting her actual traits. That is, she does not carry the same bad-tempered expression or grimace on her face in reality as well.
The actress is in fact stunningly gorgeous in real life, especially when she is on the red carpet, according to MTV News. Her red carpet appearance at the premiere of Season 5 of the show, London Comin-Con and National Television Awards in London clearly shows how glamorous and way cheerier Waddingham can look into her real life.
Waddingham's career is not just restricted to the famous HBO television series, the "Game of Thrones." She can sing like an angel, which is quite evident from her performance as Desirée Armfeldt in "A Little Light Music" and Lady of the Lake in "Spamalot." She is a veteran of the London theater scene.
However, this is not the first time that she has been made to play an evil role. Previously, the actress has played the role of the Wicked Witch of the West in "The Wizard of Oz" and the role of the Witch in "Into The Woods."
