"Game of Thrones" Season 6 spoilers have been going viral on the internet, especially since the series is so close to its finale. There are some aspects, though show runners have probably decided to keep their mouth shut, including the arrival of one of the most awaited and mysterious characters, Lady Stoneheart.

The "Game of Thrones" fans have been waiting to see Lady Stoneheart since the Red Wedding capped Season 3 of the show. Since the season was based on the third installment in George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series called "A Storm of Words," there was a good enough reason for the fans to believe that Lady Stoneheart would be introduced in Season 3.

However, to their dismay, they did not get to see the mysterious character in Season 3 of the show. But they still had hope. Since Martin's "A Storm of Words" was covered in two seasons, the "Game of Thrones" were hoping to witness the arrival of Lady Stoneheart in Season 4.

They were left disappointed, once again. The season ended on Arya's heading for Braavos. Some of the fans still continued to hope that they might see Lady Stoneheart in Season 5, but that did not happen too.

As Season 6 rushes toward the finale, the fans look forward to spoilers, tips and hints that indicate her arrival on the season soon. May be, the show runners have reserved one of the few major book plots to use in the season that had nothing much to do with the plot covered in the books, according to Vox.

The enthusiastic fans, in fact, must know that Lady Stoneheart has not been covered extensively in the books on which "Game of Thrones" is based. Towards the end of "A Storm of Words," body of Caitlyn Stark is revived by Beric Dondarrion, who leads a group called the Brotherhood Without Banners. Stark's wounds remain unhealed though, and everyone starts addressing her as as Lady Stoneheart.

The character again appears in book number four, "A Feast For Crows." However, her presence is limited. She is completely missing from the fifth book, "A Dance with Dragons." Meanwhile, book number six has not been published yet. Despite big expectations from the fan's side, Lade Stoneheart might actually turn out to be a minor character.

As far as Season 6 of the show is concerned, it is possible that Lady Stoneheart might finally arrive on the show by the end of the season. While it is pretty obvious that D.B. Weiss and David Benioff would not have wanted to introduce the character before Jon Snow's return, a number of hints and spoilers suggest that Lady Stoneheart might be on the way.

For example, the Brotherhood Without Banners have returned this season, for the first time after Season 3. Another big giveaway is the way how the show runners are a group of people toward Riverrun, which happens to be in the Riverland. This is the same place from the books where Lady Stoneheart wields her power of revenge. In addition, both Jamie and Brienne are on their way to the Riverrun, although on separate missions.

May be it is too late for the showrunners to introduce Lady Stoneheart now, but the hints about the plot of the upcoming episode suggest that it is still a possibility. Meanwhile, a report published by Vanity Fair suggests that Lady Stoneheart might not be happening this season.

Here is a proof that Lady Stoneheart will appear on Season 6:
