As announced by Sony during the E3 event today, "Crash Bandicoot" will be getting a remaster of three of its installments. The game's first three PlayStation adventures will be getting full remasters on PS4.

Before the new versions are released, Crash will be appearing in the PS4 version of "Skylanders: Imaginators." Despite the announcement, no footage of "Crash Bandicoot" has been shown after, VG 24/7 reported.

It can be recalled that for several months, the game's comeback has been hinted a couple of times by different sources. Several reports claimed the said game is already done and not anymore returning, while there were also some who hinted the return of the 90's game.

The news of the game's return first started circulating online when a Twitter account of Sony Middle East posted a wanted picture of Crash, with words in Arabic writing that says "Most Wanted. Where are you, Crash?" when translated in English, PlayStation Lifestyle reported.

The report even added that Sony boss Shuhei Yoshida doubts the game will ever return on PS4. Despite these statements, fans did not stop from hoping they will be able to see a return. They have even easily picked these up as hints that the game will be returning back to consoles. There were even fan-made videos of "Crash Bandicoot" at YouTube which were created using Unreal Engine 4.

The last time the game was teased was during a scene at "Uncharted 4" where Nathan Drake and his wife were playing PS4. It appeared that the couple was playing "Crash Bandicoot" in the game console. Because of this, rumors had been more strong that the game will finally be returning this year, and may be announced during the Electronic Entertainment Expo.

True enough, after months of waiting, Sony finally unfolds the revelation during the E3 event  It is expected that more details will be revealed in the coming months. As of the moment, no launching date has been included in the announcement and only confirmation of remasters has been shared by Sony.
