Grimmie's GoFundMe page "Support the Grimmie family" has reached $146,038 donations in just little as 48 hours after it was created on June 11, Saturday. The amount exceeded the $4,000 campaign target and is still growing.

The GoFundMe page was set by Grimmie's agent, Brian Teefey, who had been managing Grimmie up to her death, in hope to help the family cope up during these difficult times. The donation would help Grimme's family to move from their present location and assist with the funeral expenses.

"In Christina's honor I have created a GoFundMe page to assist her family in their time of need," Grimme's manager, Brian Teefey wrote in the GoFundMe summary.

"As family Mother, Father, and Brother made the ultimate family sacrifice to support Christina on her musical journey. They did nothing but love her and support her as family the best they knew how, the only worry I want them to have at this point is that of recovery."

Grimmie was gunned down by a deranged fan during a meet-and-greet at a nightclub she had performed on the night of June 10, Friday, in Orlando, Florida. The popular YouTube star was 22.

In his announcement posted on Facebook, Christina's brother, Marcus Grimmie revealed that Levine personally called his mother and offered to pay for her sister's funeral and plane flight. Christina became closer to the "Sugar" singer during "The Voice" season 6 in 2014 as he coached the former.

Levine also took to Facebook his sadness in losing a great talent like Grimmie. He also condemned the senseless killing that took her life.

Selena Gomez is another huge celebrity who expressed her grief over Grimmie's death. On June 11, Saturday, during a concert in Miami, she broke down in tears as she performed and dedicated her song to her friend Grimmie. Gomez and Grimmie had been friends since the beginning of the latter's career, MTV reported.

Gomez's mother, Mandy Teefey, discovered Grimmie on YouTube when she was 14. After being caught by Grimmie's amazing talent, Mandy and her husband, Brian contacted her. It was then that Brian started managing her career.

Grimmie joined Gomez during her North American leg of "We Own the Night Tour" in 2010. She was also part of the "Hands to Myself" singer's Stars Dance Tour in 2013.

Meanwhile, Grimmie's shooter, Kevin James Loibl shot himself after Grimmie's brother tackled him. Police authorities have not yet determined the killer's motive. He had no personal connection to Grimmie, according to ABC News7.
