Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid are officially back together. Days after the One Direction alum opened about his anxiety, the Victoria's Secret model declared her love for her boyfriend's honesty on Twitter.
According to People, Malik and Hadid ended their brief break up early this week, after she publicly showed her support for her boyfriend following his decision to cancel his show at London's Capital Summertime Ball due to anxiety. Malik admitted that anxiety has been haunting him in the past couple of months and because of the magnitude of the event, he has suffered the "worst anxiety" of his career.
Hadid wasted no time and showed her support for Malik on social media. The 21-year-old model shared that she is proud of Malik's bravery and honesty. She also commended him for being real and making the best out of each situation, giving fans the opportunity to understand and see the real him.
"We are all here to support you and make each experience easier. Your talent and good heart will never lead you wrong. Love you and so proud of you always," she tweeted.
In a separate report, an insider allegedly told People that Hadid and Malik's split did not last long because the "Pillowtalk" singer "incessantly apologized and asked for another chance." The source added that Hadid caught Malik in a "handful of lies" which immediately led to the model calling the relationship off. Malik, however, is now more determined than ever to prove to her that he has changed.
The source held that Hadid and Malik are working on their communication and being honest with each other. He reportedly did not want to waste the chance that Hadid has given him. The insider held that Malik would really have to work his way to the model's good side. One slip and she is out the door.
"Everything's good at the moment, but things could change overnight. Zayn is really going to need to continue to prove himself to her. Otherwise, she may not stick around," the source added.
An insider told E! News that Malik has been more open to his girlfriend about his anxiety the past few weeks, which made them a lot closer. It was said that the singer really loves his fans and did not want to disappoint them.
