The question "When exactly is the Google Nexus 2016 release date?" is likely getting a definitive answer real soon as one of the 2015 Stock Android phones, the LG-made Nexus 5X, is again the subject of compelling promo deals. The 5X discounted price starts $249.
And it is a killer deal loaded with Project Fi, which is Google promising uninterrupted connection via MVNO. With the recent addition of US Cellular to the program, the ongoing deal from the Nexus maker at $249 is tempting enough but according to Android Central the offer actually involves device financing or similar to telco packages that pays the phone in instalment.
The better deal though it requires $20 more, the same report said, is the 32GB Nexus 5X currently on display at the Daily Steals. But as the stock is already running out, the units available are limited to the Black color option, which should for Android fans seeking to score a bargain.
The Nexus 5X indeed is a bargain but buyers will certainly end up as winners. The device packs a 5.2-inch screen in 1080p display resolution and everything is powered by a Snapdragon 808 chip that is tapped into 2GB of RAM. The 5X also sports a flagship-level camera set up - 12.3-megapixel on the rear and 5MP on front.
The device will slide out of the box showcasing the latest Android Marshmallow build but as part of the Nexus family or the Pure Android line of devices, the 5X will readily jump to Android N the moment it becomes operational.
Basing on rumors, the next Android arrival is likely to happen no later than August 2016, which also signals the debut of the first device that the new Google mobile OS will mighty up. And it's none other than the Nexus 2016.
Speculations are rife that for this year, Google picked HTC to assemble two smartphones with one model patterned after the solid and powerful HTC 10. Huawei is also part of the show but it remains unknown what exactly the Chinese device maker is working on. Unconfirmed reports said that an upgraded Nexus 6P is coming out soon with Snapdragon 820 and 4GB RAM. Or as indicated in earlier reports, the company could be responsible for the Nexus 7 2016 tablet launch.
As mentioned, the Google Nexus 2016 release date is likely to happen with the Androids N rollout and if the series of Nexus deals in the past months are to go by, that event is happening soon, likely within August.
