Brock Lesnar will make his MMA return on July 9 at UFC 200 but he is also scheduled to wrestle for WWE SummerSlam in August. According to the latest rumors, Lesnar's possible SummerSlam opponents include Randy Orton, Kevin Owens and Bray Wyatt.

The WWE took a gamble in letting Lesnar fight in the UFC because if he loses to Mark Hunt, his invincibility in the wrestling industry takes a hit. Nonetheless, The Beast is a proven attraction for both UFC and WWE.

Lesnar last appeared in the WWE at WrestleMania 32 when he defeated Dean Ambrose in a No Disqualification Street Fight. He is expected to return to WWE television at the end of July to build up his feud at SummerSlam but who will be his opponent?

According to FanSided, there are five possible foes for Lesnar at SummerSlam that include Wyatt, Sheamus, Owens, Cesaro and Orton. All the names mentioned are fresh opponents for the former UFC heavyweight champion.

However, it should be noted that Lesnar will surely be a babyface upon his return so Cesaro is likely out of the contention. Sheamus may be a good choice but he's not been booked strongly for the past couple of months.

On the other hand, Wyatt, Owens and Orton seem like the obvious choices because they can work as heels and pose a threat to Lesnar. The Wyatt Family is set to return at any moment right now and the numbers game could play a huge role in the feud with The Beast.

They showed early in the year that they can take out Lesnar and there were even plans for a WrestleMania 32 match. However, it was scrapped and replaced by the Ambrose feud. The Wyatt Family ended up being buried by John Cena and The Rock at the biggest stage of them all.

Owens is arguably the best heel in the company right now and a feud with Lesnar is very fresh. However, the WWE may save it at a later date. As for an Orton vs. Lesnar match, it also fresh and a dream match for fans.

Orton and Lesnar are part of the OVW class of the early 2000s along with John Cena and Batista. They were considered the future of the WWE at that time. Other possible opponents for Lesnar are Samoa Joe and Shinsuke Nakamura, per Sportskeeda.

All plans will be more concrete after the WWE draft when superstars are assigned to either Monday Night Raw or SmackDown. Check out the video below for a rare match between Lesnar and Orton in 2002.
