Each fan meet of “Descendants of the Sun” actor Song Joong-ki is fully packed, but his June 17 fan meet in Chengdu is extra special because his guest here is co-star Song Hye Kyo.
Although the two Hallyu stars are not admitting it, so far, numerous entertainment websites believe the two are in a romantic relationship, or at the very least dating, based on sightings of the two in other places outside Seoul. The speculations were further fueled when the two appeared at the 52nd Baeksang Art Awards two weeks ago.
Movienewsguide added that the two are compatible because of certain common traits. First is their love for children. Hong Kong fans of Song Joong-ki noticed that while he often calls adoring female fans onstage, flirts and teases them with games, hugs and kisses, last week he called a young male fan on stage, gave him his bracelet, signed soccer ball and an autograph.
In turn, Song Hye Kyo is known to own several dogs which she treats like her own kids. While “mothering” her dogs, the 30-year-old actress also “mothers” Song Joong-ki now because of his strict diet as he loses weight for his role in “Battleship Island” with the actress allegedly cooking for him.
However, all of those are speculations and the only thing confirmed is Song Hye Kyo’s presence at the Hong Kong fan meet based on a post on the website of the Sichuan Ministry of Cultural Affairs. The two are expected to sing songs from “Descendants of the Sun,” reported KPopherald.
But whether the two would admit any relationship or insist they are just friends, in the eyes of many fans they are already a couple and just want to keep whatever they have personal.
