One month has passed since Meliodas met his demise and it is now up to the remaining Holy Knights to protect Brittania from the Ten Commandments. In the next chapter of "Nanatsu no Taizai," the other warriors will step-up to oppose the demons that roams around the lands.
In the last chapter of "Nanatsu no Taizai," it was revealed that the captain of the Seven Deadly Sins Meliodas was not able to survive the onslaught of Estarossa and has been dead for about a month. Demons infest the cities and the Ten Commandments have absolute rule in the land.
Some citizens even obeyed their orders in hopes that their families will be spared by the demons. As an example, two Holy Knights were spotted and instead of assisting them, they tried to turn them over to the higher demons. The two knights were able to neutralize some of the civilians but Fraudrin appeared out of nowhere and zapped the life out of them.
Scene shifted to Camelot where Arthur and the mysterious samurai who joined in the event in Vaizel were able to fend off some of the demons. In the next chapter, they will likely face a stronger demon which may drag them down to their knees.
Early scans were released and fans can see them over at Manga Mint. Looking at the leaks, it seems like Arthur will be chased by different breeds of demons but it looks like he will be successful in stopping them from advancing. However, he will exert a lot of effort doing so.
Meanwhile, fans over at Manga Helpers discussed where they think the story will go from here. With Meliodas dead at the moment, the team will find a way to revive the fallen captain as he is the only one capable of going toe-to-toe with the Commandments. Some believe Elizabeth will reach out to the Goddess clan, who has the answer on how to bring the captain back to life.
Meanwhile, more exposure will be given to the Knights that joined the tourney in Vaizel such as Gilfrost and the samurai among others. Here is a review of the previous chapter.
