The action in "Fairy Tail" intensifies as Irene is about to unleash a magic never before seen by anyone. Meanwhile, it is currently unknown what August did to Natsu and the gang, who appears to be heavily injured after the powerful blast that the strongest member of the Spriggan 12 unleashed.
In the last "Fairy Tail" chapter, August was infuriated with the act of betrayal Brandish did thanks to Mest. Apparently, it was him who controlled her memory and went ahead with stabbing the elder Spriggan. As a result, August transformed to a frightening entity and unleashed a heavy blast that was seen all across Fiore.
Scene shifts to where Kana and Mavis are and the former was successful in freeing the latter from the crystal that trapped her body. The first guild maser of Fairy Tail finally began to regain consciousness and it is expected that she will help out in the battlefield.
Meanwhile, Acnologia and Irene finally engaged in battle and both warriors were able to dodge each other's powerful strikes. Done with playing around, Irene tells Acnologia that he will see a magic unknown to him despite his very long existence in the world.
The magic caused the sky to turn awfully bright and apparently, she is enchanting some of her magic to the core of the Earth. It will be interesting to see if this magic will be able to scathe him a bit or if this magic will stand nothing against the Chaos Dragon. Upon seeing the magic though, Zeref got a bit worried on why Irene will use such strong magic.
In the next chapter, Irene's secret magic will be explained further and based from the title of the next chapter, this magic of Irene has the ability to reconstruct time and change the scenarios leading to the present, according to Manga Mint.
Fans over at Manga H believe Irene will also be someone who did not come from this time and is in fact someone from the future. Perhaps, the only way for her to blend in is to join the Spriggan 12 and keep her magic a secret. Meanwhile, fans over at Reddit believe that Zeref himself will have to stop Irene from what she is thinking, setting up the battle between him and Acnologia.
