In "One Piece" chapter 829, fans got to see the true nature of the Yonko, Big Mom and how she can easily lose her reason for the sake of food. In the next chapter, Jimbei is about to confess something to the big-time pirate but it appears he needs to choose his words carefully.
In the previous chapter, Luffy and the rest of the gang finally set-off to Whole Cake Island. They departed without Pekoms but Pedro reassured the crew that they have nothing to worry about as he is tough as nails. As they sail, a giant sea monster appeared right in front of them.
Scene shifted to a rampaging Big Mom who is searching for some Croquembouche, a dessert made of piled cream puffs. However, her henchmen had a hard time looking for the said delicacy. Apparently, this is a disorder she is suffering from. She arrived at Sweet City and continued her rampage by destroying everything that crossed her path.
She was halted by one of her sons and the Gelato Minister, Charlotte Muscat but to no avail. Big Mom used a mysterious ability wherein she seemed to suck the life out of her son and her other subordinates assumed Muscat is dead. With things going south quick, Jimbei immediately arrived to the scene and gave the out of control pirate what she was asking for.
Finally calm, Big Mom asked Jimbei if he is the one responsible for the vibrant atmosphere in the area. Jimbei said he just arrived and he has something very important to discuss with Big Mom. The Yonko warned him it better not be him leaving the crew.
Fans over at Oro Jackson speculated that in "One Piece" chapter 830, Jimbei will actually expose the Straw Hats to gain her trust. This will make him less suspicious and when the Straw Hats need saving, he can jump in and catch the Yonko's henchmen off-guard.
Meanwhile, fans over at Reddit think that Jimbei will tell Big Mom that the Straw Hat pirates are not as bad as she thinks. This will infuriate Big Mom and throw Jimbei to a prison. Here is a review of the previous chapter.
