Rumor has it that the world will not be able to catch Microsoft's latest hardware devices - Surface Pro 5 and Surface Book 2 - in flesh all year.
According to Tech Radar, there are still no confirmation suggesting when these Surface Pro 5 and Surface Book 2 will be released, except the baseless rumor published by Release Date Portal saying that these devices are to be released either in June 2016 or October 2016.
However, things are shaping up for these giant processing consoles as rumored upgrades and new specs like Skylake's new sister are spilled in the internet, which would be tasty for the Microsoft fans.
As reported in ZD Net, Microsoft delayed Windows 10 Redstone 2 update because of the dire need to wait until early 2017 in order to support a wave of new Microsoft-branded Windows 10 devices, which may include the Surface Pro 5, Surface Book 2, and the anticipated Surface Phone.
For the meantime, speculations on the two giant devices' features are looted by tech enthusiasts based on the performance of these devices' previous versions. The new Surface Pro 5 is challenged on how it will upgrade its Surface Pen stylus accessory, following a patent detailing a magnetic charging dock built to give the new Surface Pen its juice, seemingly with connectors meant for a Surface Dock mounting.
More so, the Surface Pro 5 will also feature a 4K 13.3 inch display and will run on 16GB of RAM while carrying the latest NVidia GPU.
Meanwhile, to cover up the enormous technical issues that sway the current Surface Book, Microsoft spearheaded Intel's next generation processor, Kaby Lake, which is said to be under development. If Kaby Lake will be included on the upcoming Surface Book 2, the device is said to be more powerful and faster than its predecessor.
The 14-nanometer microprocessor architecture from Intel will put the bars high on computer performance as it offers native USB 3.1 Type-C and Thunderbolt 3, which will promote better CPU performance.
Because of the improved graphics card, Surface Book 2 will pull the gaming users into its arms as reports reveal that all x86 PC game will gain support for the Microsoft's Xbox Live application.
For now, Microsoft fans and tech spectators should keep their senses vigilant for the official statement to be announced by Microsoft regarding the launching of Microsoft Surface Pro 5 and Surface Book 2 in the future.
